The House of Scotland Pipe Band is located in beautiful Balboa Park, San Diego, California.
The band takes great pride in being the official band of the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages. The HPR is housed in the historic 1935 Exposition cottages, 32 international Houses promoting multicultural goodwill and understanding through educational and cultural programs. The band, founded in 1964, is affiliated with the House of Scotland cottage and is proud to carry the name.


"A Landscape of Art and Culture"
Under the leadership of Pipe Major Jack White, the House of Scotland Pipe Band performs throughout San Diego and the Western United States, taking part in parades, festivals and many other celebrations. As a member of the Western United States Pipe Band Association the HOSPB also competes at the Grade IV level and is proud to have as it's mentor and Piping Instructor, renowned professional piper, Lorne Cousin, who leads the band in the competition circle.
